Was visiting friends here in Dalton. Have been to OTTO'S three times, once for lunch and twice for breakfast . All 3 times have enjoyed the meals a lot. Especially the breakfast entrees. The stuffed FRENCH TOAST with cream cheese was phenomenal. The 3 egg omelette with chorizo sausage etc. was another memorable dish. All these entrees and especially the Lobster Eggs Benedict were done by LAMAR in that tiny kitchen /cooking area. His combination of foods and flavors are the best. The Lobster Benedict was loaded with pieces of Lobster. His SPECIALS ON THAT BOARD is something you don't want to miss. THANKS AGAIN LAMAR! Appreciate the entrees. I'll have Gerry fill me in on his future visits there.
I've only stayed 4 days here and will miss this place starting tomorrow. It was fun being with friends and fun exploring the area. Now back to Florida. I posted all my food pix and things of OTTO'S. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. All the best. -

It's too bad that the hostess is so hostile and things lecturing her customers is appropriate. We come fairly often, but had to walk out this morning because of her bad attitude.
Thank heavens there are so many other good breakfast places in Pittsfield. -

Very good omelets. But they only have eggs Benedict's on the weekends. Restroom out of toilet paper too. Beware of a server named "Kiki" who was quite rude and even ignored an elderly man who fell to the floor next to me. Unbelievable.

Stopped here for lunch on a cold, drizzly day. The space was large with ample places for seating.
Our waitress wasn't very friendly or helpful at the beginning but we were still hopeful. I ordered the whole grilled chicken salad and my husband ordered a burger.
When our food arrived our waitress said, "I only put in a half salad for you. I realized it right after I put it in but figured it would be fine." The salad was a good size but it was little frustrating because my husband and I had planned on splitting the whole.
We both ran out of water soon into the meal and we both needed different things. Our waitress didn't come check on us even once during the meal. I had to go to the bar and ask for more to drink and again for the things we needed.
Food was good but the service was absolutely horrible. -

The food here is excellent. We had a fantastic breakfast and prices were fair.
Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment. We walked in and waited. There was a group ahead of us and two behind us. Waitresses would walk back and forth and avoid eye contact. Finally, after about five minutes, the hostess saw the crowd and started to seat groups. Our server, Jenna, was lovely, but she must have been serving the entire back section, as it took 45 minutes to get breakfast. It also took a while to get coffee, and we were asked no less than four times if we wanted refills. While the food is very good, I would likely try somewhere else next time I am in town.
